Community Youth Services - Program Counselor

Community Youth Services is recruiting for a Program Counselor for its Haven House program. The Program Coordinator will support the Program Director and ensure smooth operations, including staff communication, training, schedule management, shift coverage, and administrative tasks.

About CYS

With nearly 50 years of service, CYS provides a continuum of care to meet the needs of at-risk youth and their families. Our 20+ programs support housing, education, job training, independent living, and more, assisting approximately 4,000 youth annually. We employ over 175 staff and support 120 volunteers, maintaining a 95% staff retention rate.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's in Social Work or related field, or Associate degree with two years' experience, or three years of relevant experience, including working directly with youth in residential settings.
Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Program Director with staff communication
  2. Coordinate and facilitate staff training
  3. Guide staff on program processes and policies
  4. Conduct regular check-ins with lead staff
  5. Maintain staff schedules and shift coverage
  6. Participate in weekly on-call duty, managing coverage during crises or absences
