Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA, seeks an Operations/Technical Supervisor for the Haunted Camelbeach attraction. You will oversee daily operations, manage technical systems, and lead a seasonal team to deliver a safe, immersive nightly experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating opening/closing, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring safety protocols while collaborating with Security, Maintenance, and EMS for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in attractions, entertainment, theater, haunted attractions, or live events preferred.
• Ability to lead others and guide peers in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience operating or troubleshooting lighting, audio, theatre effects, or technical systems preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to train, motivate, and lead a seasonal team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the haunted attraction ensuring safety and an immersive guest experience.
• Lead and support Scare Actors, Stage Crew, Technical Associates, and Makeup Artists during shifts.
• Coordinate opening, operating, and closing procedures for all attraction areas.
• Oversee lighting, audio, fog, special effects, and show control systems.
• Troubleshoot technical, operational, and staffing issues in real time.
• Conduct daily inspections of sets, props, equipment, and pathways.
• Ensure safety procedures and evacuation protocols are followed.
• Schedule breaks and monitor staffing levels.
• Train, coach, and evaluate seasonal team members.
• Maintain operation logs and coordinate maintenance requests with other departments.
• Collaborate with Security, Maintenance, EMS, and Resort Operations for smooth nights.
• Assist with installation, testing, maintenance, and removal of seasonal equipment.
• Monitor guest flow and adjust operations to maximize throughput without compromising experience.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns and staff incidents.
• Adhere to safety standards, dress code, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team and participate in planning and improvement initiatives.
