Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA is seeking a Technical Associate to operate lighting, sound, fog, and special effects for Haunted Camelbeach attractions. You’ll ensure all technical systems perform safely and consistently during each event, coordinating with actors and stage crew to time effects and cues.

This role requires comfort working in dark environments, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and weekend/evening/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with theatrical lighting, audio, or special effects preferred but not required.
• Basic troubleshooting and technical aptitude required.
• Ability to safely operate electrical equipment.
• Comfortable working in dark environments and around fog and theatrical effects.
• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to speak and read the English language.

Responsibilities

Reports to: Technical Supervisor

Create the atmosphere that makes every scare unforgettable! As a Technical Associate, you'll operate lighting, sound, fog, and special effects while ensuring all technical systems perform safely and consistently throughout each event.
