Job summary

Kings Dominion is hiring for its Haunt season. The role includes operating safety checks, assisting riders, and enforcing ride policies to ensure a fun and safe experience for guests.

Training is provided, and opportunities exist to train on different rides across the park. Compensation is $14 per hour with an additional Haunt Bonus of $3 on operating days, and perks include free uniforms, admission to Kings Dominion and Six Flags parks, and employee events.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment daily before opening the ride to guests.
• Enforce park policies, ride restrictions and recommendations.
• Verify safety restraints and belts are secure before operation.
• Ensure ride and queue areas are safe, orderly, and well-managed.
• Assist with loading/unloading of riders, including children and guests with disabilities.

Age Requirements

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older for this position.

This role is eligible for the Haunt Bonus of $3 extra per hour on operating days, you must work the last weekend of Haunt.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment daily before opening the ride to guests.
• Enforce Park policies, ride restrictions and ride recommendations.
• Verify that safety restraints and belts are correctly secured before the ride is set into motion.
• Ensure safe operation of the ride. Make certain that queue lines are safe and orderly.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of the ride to include small children and guests with disabilities.
