50065 Heidelberg Materials Midwest Agg, Inc. is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to support quarry operations near Winchester, VA.

You will safely operate haul trucks and support equipment, perform routine inspections, and assist with loading, dumping, and site housekeeping to maintain production targets. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adaptability to changing schedules and outdoor conditions.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate haul trucks and support equipment to safely transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Support daily production activities by assisting with loading, dumping, stockpiling, and site housekeeping.
  • Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient quarry operations and achieve production goals.
What Are We Looking For
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, construction, or similar environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices.
  • Ability to perform equipment inspections, identify concerns, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
