The role involves daily inspections, adherence to OSHA and MSHA procedures, and supporting co-workers on various projects locally. Candidates should have 2–5 years of loader experience, be able to work nights or weekends, and travel when required.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of loader operations experience preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in pit and mining environments.
• Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations.
• Report problems to the manager and follow Foreman directions.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE as required by OSHA/MSHA.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections and document findings.
• Assist in training less-experienced staff and perform general labor tasks as needed.
• Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and be available for overtime.
