Job summary

APAC Tennessee, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Loader Operator to join our Memphis team. You will safely operate heavy equipment used in pit and mining operations and perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies. The role requires teamwork and adherence to Foreman guidance on daily tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of loader experience, prior construction experience, and the ability to travel, work nights/weekends, and wear PPE per OSHA/MSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience in the construction field and/or training.
• Two to five years' experience in loader operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in pit and mining operations.
• Report any problems to your manager.
• Operate in a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers.
• Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
