Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a loader operator to safely operate heavy equipment in mining and pit operations in a team environment. The role requires 2–5 years of loader experience or related training and the ability to pass drug, background, and Fit-for-Work screenings.

You must be able to travel, work nights or weekends, and adhere to OSHA/MSHA safety rules. Travel and overtime may be required with a professional attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in pit and mining operations.
• Report any problems to your manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers.
• Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and project-specific expectations.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to Foreman.
• Complete daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees on proper operations and maintenance.
• Perform general labor duties when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
