Job summary

Luck Stone's Culpeper Plant is seeking a Haul Truck Operator to safely navigate quarry roads and berms, loading rock into the primary crushers and assisting with on-site maintenance.

Duties include pre- and post-shift inspections, identifying equipment issues, operating heavy equipment with proper loading and dumping techniques, and helping keep the plant area clean. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm; benefits start day one, including PTO and a matching 401K.

Qualifications

• Prior quarry or large construction experience preferred.
• Must be available Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm.

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift and post-shift inspections of the haul truck.
• Identify and report rode, high wall and equipment issues.
• Operate heavy equipment with proper loading and dumping techniques.
• Ensure the vehicle receives proper maintenance.
• Assist with plant projects and maintain a clean, organized site.
• Occasionally operate Water Truck or Bin Truck as needed.
• Prioritize safety for self and coworkers.

Luck Stone's Culpeper Plant is looking to hire a Haul Truck Operator. Haul Truck Operators skillfully navigate quarry roads and berms to ensure safe loading and unloading of rock into the primary crushers. Individual will also assist on the ground with plant maintenance as needed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle
• Identifying and reporting rode, high wall and equipment issues
• Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and dumping techniques
• Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance
• Assist with projects and activities other than heavy equipment operation around the plant as needed.
• May occasionally operate Water Truck or Bin Truck
• Prioritizes safety throughout site for self and others
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment, or heavy equipment experience is a plus
• Must have a team oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
• Available to work shift: M-F 7am-4pm
