Job Description

• This position requires performing various duties within the quarry, including operating and maintaining conveyor, screening, and crushing equipment, and operating a front-end loader to load aggregate materials. Flexibility to fill in at different operations due to workload, vacations, or leaves is essential.

Requirements

• Inspect parts for damage or excessive wear
• Clean material from returned vehicles
• Check loaded material for quality
• Accurately record car numbers
• Shovel and clean as needed
• Load haul trucks and customer trucks, feed portable plants, stockpile, and load bins
• Operate haul trucks and water trucks
• Understand mining equipment and aggregate sizes/classifications
• Perform maintenance and loader operations adhering to safety standards
• Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and uphold a positive attitude
• Work under supervision but also perform tasks independently without compromising safety or quality

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
