Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates Texas LLC in Rosser, TX seeks a Haul Truck Driver to operate haul trucks and support mining operations. You will work with a team in an outdoor environment, performing equipment inspections and daily tasks to ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Prompt, regular and predictable attendance is required.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a haul truck and other heavy equipment as assigned.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintain equipment performance.
• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear communications with plant personnel and operators.
• Cleans equipment and assists with routine duties as needed.

Job description

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Haul Truck Driver based out of our Rosser, TX.As a Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and working with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

Day to Day

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Safely operate a haul truck, farm tractor, water truck or rubber tire backhoe.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work environment.

About You

• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• No prior experience required, training provided

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
