ASCO Equipment has career opportunities for a Haul Truck Driver in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma branch. The Haul Truck Driver will be responsible for safely loading and unloading heavy machinery at both the ASCO yard and customer locations. The driver will properly secure all loads before transport and ensure check-in/check-out sheets are correctly completed.

The primary focus of the Haul Truck Driver is to safely transport heavy equipment and represent ASCO by providing exceptional customer service. They will communicate and coordinate with internal teams to meet branch hauling needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely load and unload heavy equipment.
2. Properly secure loads with ratchet straps, chains, binders, and winch.
3. Safely climb on/off equipment and tractor/trailer multiple times a day.
4. Manage time effectively to meet delivery and pickup schedules.
5. Utilize safe driving techniques at all times.
6. Complete equipment inspection reports legibly upon delivery and pickup.
7. Maintain daily records of vehicle inspections and accurate log books.
8. Coordinate with dispatchers and customers to verify delivery and pickup locations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Ability to maneuver around and crawl under equipment for securing loads, in various environments.
• Ability to reach, bend, walk, and perform physical tasks frequently.
• Possess a Class A CDL License.
