Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Truck Driver at our quarry operations in De Soto, Kansas. • Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Mariettau2019s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision

This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred
• basic knowledge of mechanics and/or troubleshooting experience preferred
