Location: Arcadia, WI.
Position: Day Shift Utility Team Member.
Starts at $22.17/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential if applicable.
Position Summary
The Utility Team Member is responsible for working in all areas of the hatchery, with the primary responsibilities being to work on the transfer crew and chick processing crew as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Trays eggs from farm racks into incubator racks and loads incubators according to set schedules.
- Transfers eggs from incubators to hatchers as part of the transfer team.
- Cleans and disinfects incubators, hatchers, egg room, processing rooms and hatchery equipment.
- Monitors equipment and assists in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Must learn and back up all chick processing and transfer team positions, including being on call rotating weekends.
- Assists in training new team members.
- Assists in mixing and dispensing vaccines according to company guidelines.
- Participates in safety audits and SOP reviews.
- Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work in positions requiring data collection and entry.
- Ability to push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid PIT license (pallet jack and scissor lift).
- Ability to work in wet, dusty, loud conditions.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
