Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking personnel for hatchery operations to ensure chick quality and safe processing. You will report machine issues to hatchery management and assist with repairs to farm buggies, supporting smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include filling in for hatchery positions during absences and handling general tasks assigned by management when there are no absences, all while following GMPs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• GMPs must be followed at all times relating to safety and animal welfare.
• Able to use PPE correctly for assigned tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Job description

MAJOR JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Notify hatchery management of any machine issue that could effect chick quality.

Work on Wednesday clean days. Repair farm buggies.

Production Requirements

• Any other job duties as requested by Hatchery Management.
• Fill in for Hatchery Jobs duringabsences
• General Tasks assigned by Management when there are notabsences

Quality Requirements

Make certain all GMP's are followed at all times as they relate to safety and Animal Welfare.

Safety Requirements

• Always use correct PPE for individual job tasks.
• Hearing protection must be worn during chick processing.
• Fall protection must be used in the event work is over 4' from ground level.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor working conditions with temperatures between 64-100.
• Outside working conditions will vary according to the weather conditions.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs
