Peco Foods, Inc. seeks a Hatchery Supervisor in Mississippi to oversee the hatchery operation and trucking fleet, ensuring quality chicks at a competitive cost.
You will work with the assistant hatchery managers to implement procedures, supervise the direct and indirect staff, and uphold safety, biosecurity, and regulatory standards.
This role requires coordinating training, producing daily hatchery reports, and maintaining staffing levels to meet production goals.

Responsible for directing, controlling, coordinating and maintaining all aspects of the hatchery operation and trucking fleet.
Works closely with the assistant hatchery managers to develop and ensure the proper procedures are implemented to obtain optimum results.
Provide the broiler department with the best broiler chick possible.
Responsible for coordinating annual employee training involving safety, DOT provisions, and maintenance.
Follow animal welfare and biosecurity programs and ensure that employees are trained and following these standards.
Maintain adequate staffing.
Ensure compliance with all applicable government agencies and regulations.
Physical Demands:
e Sitting/standing/walking and driving 100% of the workday.
e Working in normal room environment, outside environment, and in cold, hot, humid, and dusty conditions.
Physically able to climb a ladder at various heights.
