Job summary

House of Raeford Careers is seeking a maintenance technician to locate and diagnose failures and perform basic troubleshooting on all hatchery production equipment. The role requires reading detailed specifications, performing setups, and adhering to safety practices while maintaining production uptime.

You must be able to lift 70 pounds, work in cold, wet, dusty and warm environments, handle chemicals, and follow LOTO and Hot Work guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be able to locate and diagnose failures and do basic troubleshooting from detailed specifications on hatchery equipment.
• Perform setups and safety checks on hatchery production equipment.
• Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds and work in cold, wet, dusty, and warm environments.
• Must be able to work around chemicals and follow LOTO and Hot Work guidelines.
• Basic mechanic and basic electrical knowledge required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday - 5:00 a.m. - until finished; must be able to be on call; must be able to lift at least 70 pounds; be able to work in cold, wet, dusty, warm environments; must be able to work around chemicals; must have basic mechanic knowledge, as well as basic electrical knowledge; must have knowledge of LOTO guidelines and Hot Work guidelines.
