Job summary

Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corporation (PWSAC) seeks a Receiving Clerk for the Anchorage Distribution Center to handle shipping, receiving, and distribution of hatchery supplies. On-the-job training is provided, with emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and safety.

Responsibilities include freight handling, pallet building, and compliance with CFR 49 and related regulations. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and driving box vans/forklifts as needed, with wage starting at $21.57 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and one year experience in receiving, shipping, logistics or similar work.
• Must have a current driver’s license free of moving violations and suspensions
• Pass a fitness test to operate a box van

Responsibilities

• Accept, sort, and distribute freight efficiently.
• Build pallets and work under CFR 49, 29, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Drive box vans and forklifts to move supplies.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs, physical duty.
• Obtain forklift certificate and DOT physical within 30 days of hire to ensure safety.
