Job Details

Location: Wayne-Sanderson Farms

Schedule: Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs from egg buggies to setter machines.
• Perform machine checks and maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Operate egg buggies and handle manual tasks such as pushing and pulling.
• Comply with safety and animal welfare guidelines and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with motivation.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Strong work ethic, honesty, and integrity.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hatchery or poultry industry.
• Basic math skills.

Safety and Physical Requirements

• Adherence to safety policies and PPE usage.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 60 lbs.
• Work in hot, wet, and dusty environments.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and crawling.
• Push buggies weighing approximately 1,000 lbs.
