Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an Egg Handler to transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines and ensure clean, safe operations on site. You will follow PPE protocols, perform routine equipment checks, and maintain sanitation across machinery and work areas.
The role requires the ability to work unsupervised, handle night and extended shift hours, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Prior hatchery or poultry exposure is a plus, with basic math skills beneficial for daily tasks.
Primarily responsible for transferring a specified number of eggs from egg buggies to setter machine. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
