Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Troy, AL is seeking a safety-conscious team member to transfer eggs from buggies to setter machines, while adhering to PPE and company policies. This role requires ability to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts, with lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for long periods.
Responsibilities include performing routine machine checks, sanitation, and supporting daily hatchery operations in a fast-paced environment. Prior hatchery experience is preferred but not required.
Primarily responsible for transferring a specified number of eggs from egg buggies to setter machine. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
