Our client, a national law firm, is seeking an associate attorney to join their Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Patent Litigation Group. This group represents manufacturers of generic pharmaceuticals and biosimilars facing patent infringement actions in their Abbreviated New Drug Applications. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or out of their New York office.

Billable Hours- 1,850

Responsibilities:

· Handle all phases of patent litigation.

· Draft pleadings, write briefs, and prepare and argue motions.

· Prepare for and assist with jury trials.

· Argue hearings and provide support to senior litigators for other court proceedings.

· Advise leading life sciences companies on patent litigation matters.

Qualifications:

· Patent litigation experience is required. A background in Hatch-Waxman litigation is a must.

· Candidates must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

· A degree in chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacology, biology, or an equivalent discipline is preferred.

·Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the state where they reside.
