Hashicorp Vault/Zero Trust Security Engineer

Our client, a leading provider of secure financial messaging services, is seeking a Hashicorp Vault/Zero Trust Security Engineer to join their team on site in Culpeper, VA. The role involves supporting various application teams within the IAME team, focusing on digital secrets management, compliance, and security policy enforcement.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting application teams with onboarding digital secrets and reviewing environments for authentication methods and secrets engines.
  2. Developing compliance reports, reviewing policies, and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of security solutions.
  3. Collaborating with stakeholders to expand services and automate processes.
  4. Designing and deploying secure, highly available solutions.
  5. Participating in on-call rotations and operational readiness activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with HashiCorp Vault Enterprise and Secret Management Services.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, especially in non-human identities strategies.
  • Understanding of compliance and security policies.
  • Ability to translate policies into engineering requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
