Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a HashiCorp Vault Implementation Consultant to guide the deployment of Vault in an Azure environment. The consultant will educate the team, challenge design decisions as needed, validate configurations, and help keep the project on track for a targeted delivery.

This role emphasizes strategic guidance rather than day-to-day Vault administration. The candidate will help build and manage Azure DevOps workstreams, advise on security strategies, and support Azure service

Qualifications

• 5+ years implementing HashiCorp Vault in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Azure Key Vault, secrets management, encryption, and identity/security best practices.
• Experience with Azure services, Azure DevOps (ADO), Azure Pipelines, and CI/CD toolchains.
• Proven ability to provide architecture and implementation guidance.
• Experience partnering with consulting organizations or professional services teams on enterprise-scale implementations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to educate technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with greenfield implementations and establishing best practices for new platform deployments.
• Experience working in a financial institution or banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate teams on Vault deployment best practices and security controls.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight throughout Vault implementation in Azure.
• Coordinate workstreams within Azure DevOps, identify tasks and dependencies, and ensure alignment with security requirements.
• Serve as a technical resource to accelerate adoption and long-term success of the platform.

Insight Global is seeking a HashiCorp Vault Implementation Consultant to provide strategic guidance and oversight throughout the deployment of HashiCorp Vault within an Azure environment. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, partnering with internal teams and the vendor to ensure the platform is implemented correctly, challenge design decisions when necessary, validate configurations, and help keep the project on track for a targeted delivery. This role is not responsible for day-to-day administration of Vault, but rather for educating the team, recommending best practices, and providing real-world expertise on how HashiCorp Vault should be implemented and integrated within the organization's environment. This person will helping guide the team to build and manage workstreams within Azure DevOps, identifying implementation tasks and dependencies, advising on security and secrets management strategies, supporting integrations with Azure services and DevOps toolchains, and serving as a key technical resource to accelerate adoption and ensure the long-term success of the platform.
