Job summary

Financecolombia is seeking a shift supervisor in a mushroom-harvest operation. The role involves ensuring proper placement of workers on the 2nd shift, recording accurate container counts, and maintaining harvesting workmanship and order fulfillment.

Daily reporting to Harvesting Director is required. The candidate should be able to read and write in Spanish and/or English, preferably with training or mushroom-harvesting experience.

• Enforce safety and food safety standards.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to receive mushroom orders and prepare harvesting area.
• Separate and stack mushroom containers by grade and size.
• Report any social or physical issues with the team to Harvesting Management.
• Ensure picking tickets are placed in each container except opens.
• Ensure all orders are complete.

Daily reporting to Harvesting Director is required.

Role and Responsibilities

Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with Harvesting Management with requests for days off. Must get an actual count the containers and enter the information accurately in the I-Harvest tablets. Prior to taking a lunch, must make sure all containers are out of the house. Must review all the containers for workmanship and in-weights. Extraneous material, sizing, miscuts, etc. Houses need to be checked prior to moving to the next house to ensure proper harvesting procedures have been followed. Must understand and enforce company safety and food safety standards. Must arrive at least 15 minutes before the harvester start time to get the mushroom orders and prepare harvesting area. Mushroom containers are being separated and stacked according to grade and size. Needs to immediately report to Harvesting Management any social or physical issues with the team. Make sure picking tickets are put into each container except for the opens. Responsible for making sure all orders are complete.
