Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Operations Specialist in Seneca, IL. No experience is required; you will assist in running daily fall season operations during this peak period.

As a major grain and oilseeds trader, CHS offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and overtime opportunities to maximize take-home pay. Shifts range from 7a-7p with weekend hours and potential for full-time conversion after the season.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently as directed.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location and comply with company policy and government regulations.
• Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Prepare trucks for loading/unloading including sampling, loosening large nuts, opening hatches, and attaching/detaching hoses.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs from trucks using machinery; may include bulk or packaged material.
• Monitor all load out functions and maintain inventory quality.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized; perform housekeeping and record keeping.
• Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal and warehouse tasks.
• Report customer complaints, repairs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations; identify hazards and address unsafe actions.
