Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in the United States seeks a Manager, Harvest & Post Harvest to lead wet and dry harvest operations, standardize procedures, and drive continuous improvement across harvesting, drying and curing.

You will oversee Harvest and Post Harvest teams and partner with cultivation leadership to optimize throughput and preserve product quality. Responsibilities include developing SOPs, training modules, performance metrics, and coordination with R&D and QA to implement new techniques

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cultivation, harvest, post-harvest operations, or related CPG/agriculture environments.
• Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in harvest workflows, drying and curing processes, process improvement, SOP development, and training.
• Experience leading teams in direct or matrix-style leadership structures.
• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and interpreting operational KPIs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to execute process improvements and change management.
• Solid project management, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and standardize wet and dry harvest processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and refine SOPs for harvest procedures and post-harvest handling.
• Identify bottlenecks and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Ensure Harvest data is completed on-time and material is sorted and recorded.
• Partner with cultivation leadership to align schedules and throughput.
• Provide training and certification for harvest teams and staff.
• Coordinate with national leadership for on-site coaching of Harvest Managers.
• Evaluate equipment and methodologies to improve labor efficiency and yield.
• Direct the implementation of validated R&D improvements.
• Support installation and rollout of new harvest equipment.
