Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to HACCP, food safety and GMP guidelines and policies.
• Understand and enforce Creekstone Farms safety requirements; complete required safety training.
• Monitor and participate in operations in assigned areas.
• During the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lead fills in for the Supervisor.
• Provide guidance, support and professional development to technicians.
• Assist in scheduling of work according to priorities and direction from the Superintendent and Supervisor.
• Ensure that all technicians properly follow warehouse processes.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop needed training for all techs.
• Manage daily shift downtime reconciliation/action items; ensure every position in area is properly staffed at shift start.
• Manage break times to maintain rotations and prevent over-time.
• Follow the plant's continuous improvement process and plan.
• All other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Lead will direct the daily activities of and work directly with Maintenance Technicians within an assigned area. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions. They are additionally responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production while ensuring the safest work environment possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

HACCP/Food Safety/GMP

• Understand and adhere to all HACCP, food safety, and GMP guidelines
• and policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Safety

• Understand and enforce all Creekstone Farms safety requirements.
• Successfully complete and maintain required safety training

Administrative Skills

• Monitor and participate in operations in assigned areas
• During the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lead fills in for the Supervisor
