Job summary

Breaux Vineyards, Ltd. is seeking a hands-on team member for a seasonal winery operations role in Harvest, Alabama. The position focuses on sanitation, fruit handling, crush equipment operation, and tank cleanliness to support wine production.

A successful candidate will assist with punch downs, pump overs, racking, and barrel work, under supervision, with opportunities for year-round employment for strong performers. Forklift experience is a plus and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in winery sanitation and equipment cleaning.
• Ability to receive and sort fruit for processing.
• Operate and clean crush equipment.
• Assist with punch downs and pump overs.
• Perform racking and wine transfers.
• Handle barrel filling, topping, stirring, and racking under supervision.
• Drain and clean tanks and barrels.
• Operate and clean filtration systems; crossflow filtration experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification and practical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain winery sanitation across equipment, tanks, and hoses.
• Receive, sample, sort, and process fruit.
• Operate and clean crush equipment.

• Winery Sanitation - cleaning equipment, wine tanks, and hoses, etc
• Fruit: receiving. sampling, sorting and processing
• Crush equipment: Operation and cleaning
• Must assist with punch downs and pump overs
• Racking and Wine Transfer
• Barrel filling, topping, stirring, and racking with supervision
• Draining tanks and cleaning tanks and barrels
• Operating and cleaning filtration system (experience with crossflow filter a plus!)
• Forklift certification and practical experience is a plus!
