Job description

Position: 2nd Assistant Coach

Harvard Women’s Tennis is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 2nd Assistant Coach to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to a nationally competitive Division I program within the Ivy League and NCAA.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Provide on-court coaching during home and away matches and tournaments
  2. Assist with team and individual practices, including hitting, feeding, and skill development
  3. Support match preparation and team travel logistics
  4. Assist with video analysis and performance feedback
  5. Contribute to administrative duties, including recruiting support within NCAA compliance guidelines

Additional Opportunities

In addition to a salary, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach private lessons year-round at Harvard’s indoor and outdoor tennis facilities.

Qualifications

  1. Experience playing and/or coaching at a competitive level
  2. Strong communication and organizational skills
  3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  4. Currently authorized to work in the United States
  5. Must have a valid driver’s license
  6. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and meeting Harvard University employment standards

The projected start date for this position is September 1.
