Job summary

Cambridge Dental Center is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to perform comprehensive hygiene services, educate patients, and collaborate with a skilled team in a modern, academically affiliated practice. You will conduct cleanings, assessments, radiographs, and patient education while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation and high standards of infection control.

Qualifications

• Valid RDH licensure in the state.
• Experience in general dentistry; pediatric dentistry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
• Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
• Committed to patient-centered care and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs with infection control in mind.
• Review medical histories and vital signs to tailor care plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Maintain accurate EHRs (Eaglesoft or Dentrix) with HIPAA compliance.
• Manage infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after treatment.
