Job summary

Malibu Boats, LLC in Lenoir City, Tennessee, seeks a Project Engineer to create, maintain, revise, and manage harness CAD drawings and related engineering documentation for production and prototype wiring harness assemblies. You will convert designs across formats and ensure accuracy, compliance, and revision control.

You will lead cross-functional projects to improve manufacturing processes, product quality, safety, and efficiency, collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 3 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with wire harness design, electrical assemblies, or related processes.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, revise, and manage CAD drawings, models, engineering databases, and labels for harness assemblies.
• Collaborate with Product Development and cross-functional teams to update harness designs meeting specs.
• Convert and maintain documentation across CAD/data platforms with revision control.
• Support prototype development and learn harness assembly processes and wire processing methods.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
