Job summary

Versigent designs and delivers systems that move power through modern technology, enabling electrified and automated products. The role focuses on driving value by optimizing components for Versigent Americas product designs, collaborating with OEMs and internal teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years in product engineering or technical sales, experience with connectors or wire harnesses, and strong communication skills. Some local travel is required, with relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
• 2+ years in Product Engineering or Technical Sales
• Experience with connectors / terminals or wire harnesses
• Experience with OEM part approvals preferred
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience interacting directly with clients (face to face)
• Ability to travel – mostly local

Responsibilities

• Analyze bill of material and work with cross functional team to identify and quantify component value opportunities
• Liaise between OEM and supply base to get components validated and approved for usage
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement best cost component opportunities
• Support purchasing team in component strategy development
• Lead engineering evaluation of new components including robustness and total system cost
• Coordinate with Global teams to share opportunities for best value components
