Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hardwood Installer role based in Crestwood, MO. The Hardwood Installer will measure, cut, and install hardwood flooring, prepare subfloors, and ensure proper alignment and fit for each project. Daily tasks include using installation tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized job site. The role also involves interacting with customers and team members, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring work is completed on schedule and in accordance with company standards. The installer may assist with carpet and tile projects as needed to support overall operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience installing hardwood flooring, including measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing.
• Ability to prepare and assess subfloors, including leveling, moisture checks, and appropriate underlayment selection.
• Proficiency with common flooring tools and equipment (e.g., saws, nailers, sanders, measuring tools) and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and follow installation plans, and capability to solve on-site issues effectively.
• Reliable transportation to Crestwood, MO job sites and ability to work full-time schedules, including occasional weekends as required.
• Physical ability to lift flooring materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual work safely.
• Professional communication and customer service skills, with a focus on respectful interactions and clear project updates.
