Today, we're tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what's never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world's best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

What you'll be doing:

Lead the development and maintenance of validation plans, detailed test procedures, and supporting documentation for L6, L10, and L11 products. Collaborate with NVIDIA hardware, software, firmware, system, and validation engineers to define test coverage, prerequisites, configurations, execution steps, and acceptance criteria. Translate engineering requirements and test methodologies into clear instructions covering equipment setup, tools, commands, expected results, data collection, and troubleshooting. Work with engineering owners to verify procedures through hands-on execution and pilot runs, ensuring they are accurate, repeatable, and ready for use by internal and partner teams. Provide technical guidance and training to internal engineers, JDM partners, and vendors to enable consistent execution of validation plans. Serve as a primary contact for questions and issues encountered during validation, clarifying procedures, supporting initial troubleshooting, and engaging the appropriate engineering owners. Establish documentation templates, review and approval processes, revision control, and traceability between validation requirements, procedures, and results. Keep documentation aligned with product revisions, hardware configurations, software and firmware releases, and changes to validation requirements. Incorporate execution feedback and lessons learned into procedures to improve usability, reduce ambiguity, and increase validation efficiency.

What we need to see:

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. 6+ years of relevant experience in hardware or system validation, applications engineering, product engineering, or a related engineering role. Demonstrated experience developing validation plans, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, or other engineering documentation used by internal teams or external partners. Strong understanding of hardware and system validation, including test coverage, configuration management, pass/fail criteria, failure isolation, and validation evidence. Ability to translate complex technical information into precise, practical instructions for engineers with different levels of product familiarity. Hands‑on experience executing validation procedures and troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware interactions. Experience working across engineering disciplines and supporting JDMs, ODMs, OEMs, vendors, or other external technical partners. Experience using AI tools and agentic workflows to support validation planning, technical documentation, and issue investigation, with the ability to verify outputs for technical accuracy and reliability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to lead technical reviews, deliver training, and coordinate issue resolution. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation dependencies, competing priorities, and changing product requirements. Willingness and ability to travel as needed (at least 20%) to support collaboration, training, and validation activities at NVIDIA and partner sites and work will involve meeting with teams in international time zones, requiring flexibility in meeting schedules.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience developing or executing validation plans across L6, L10, and L11 product levels.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU platforms, accelerated computing systems, networking, and data center infrastructure.
  • Experience in an applications engineering role creating technical procedures and enabling customers or partners to execute them successfully.
  • Experience with Linux, diagnostic tools, scripting, and test automation to support repeatable validation and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin to support technical collaboration with JDM partners and vendors.
