Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for Hardware Validation to lead a team of engineers across post-Silicon validation for Mac and Data Center systems. You will drive test execution, debug failures, and partner with Software, Silicon, and PM teams to improve coverage and outcomes.

You will analyze large data sets to identify trends, guide root-cause analysis, and present validation status in executive meetings. Strong architecture knowledge and programming skills are essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 4 years in Test or Validation roles.
• Experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon validation.
• Strong background in computer architecture and IO protocols (PCIe, USB).
• Programming in Python, C, and Shell scripting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in Hardware Validation Engineering (HVE).
• Collaborate with Software, Silicon, Hardware, and PM teams on test plans and deliverables.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and root causes of failures.
• Review system and silicon test coverage and drive improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Represent validation status in cross-functional and executive meetings.
