Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, seeks an Engineering Manager - Hardware Validation to lead a team of engineers in the Hardware Validation Engineering group, focusing on post-silicon validation for next generation Mac and Data Center systems.

The role requires close collaboration with Software, Silicon, and Hardware teams to drive test execution and root-cause analysis. The manager will analyze large data sets to find trends and anomalies, drive improved test coverage, and present validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience in test or validation, pre- or post-silicon.
• Strong computer architecture and IO protocol knowledge (PCIe, USB).
• Programming in Python, C, Shell scripting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in Hardware Validation Engineering.
• Coordinate with Software, Silicon, Hardware and PM teams on test deliverables.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and anomalies in silicon/system behavior.
• Present validation status and issue debugs in cross-functional and executive meetings.
