Responsibilities

• Perform storage validation tasks using hardware infrastructure.
• Write, execute and debug eSSD testing scripts.

• Perform first level failure analysis and triage issues.

Job Description

• Perform storage validation tasks using hardware infrastructure, hardware tools such as analyzers, Oscilloscope, storage product testers
• Write, execute and debug eSSD testing scripts in python framework or inhouse tools (internally developed)
• File Jiras and generate reports.
• Maintain inventory and manage lab equipment, aware of licenses, installation of OS and other softwares.
• Perform first level failure analysis and triage test setup issues.

Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge of storage, storage environments, computers and computer system architecture.
• Knowledge about basics of embedded systems.
• Firmware knowledge.
• Exposure to industry standard communications such as NVMe/PCIe, USB etc.
• Strong desire to deep‑dive system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team‑based environment with a proactive attitude
• Debugging using JTAG debugger.
• Hands‑on debug experience with usage of modern lab equipment (DSOs, Logic Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers) are a plus
• Working Knowledge in scripting language like python and Linux Operating Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
• Organized and Driven.
• Self Starter.
