Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer for a 12+ month contract, onsite in Fremont, CA or Austin, TX.

The role focuses on pre- and post-silicon validation, board bring-up, and power validation, with opportunities to lead client deliverables and collaborate across teams. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in hardware validation, strong debugging skills, and familiarity with Python automation.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Hardware Validation Engineer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Fremont CA or Austin TX (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $43 - $47/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Need a Validation engineer to support the customer Validation boards Pre and post silicon bring up, Testing the voltage regulator circuits, low speed interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART etc...
• Board Bring up, Power Validation

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Good Experience in Hardware Board Bring up and Debug
• 5-10 years of experience working in Hardware boards bring up, Pre-silicon validation, PDVT,EDVT
• Experience in Power validation at Board level and silicon level
• Basic knowledge on Python automation would be desirable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead the team for quality customer deliverables
