Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a dependable Hardware Test & Production Technician in Knoxville, TN for a 6-month term. Responsibilities include testing, configuring, upgrading and calibrating hardware in a manufacturing setting, with occasional production support tasks such as packing and receiving.

The role requires an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field, hands-on testing experience, and familiarity with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and signal generators.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or hardware testing environment.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and signal generators.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Cisco hardware/networking knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, configuration, testing, calibration, and upgrades of hardware products following engineering procedures and work instructions
• Execute product testing using engineering test procedures, schematics, and quality standards
• Document and record test results accurately per quality requirements
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and system issues as needed
• Assist with production support activities including assembly, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support team objectives and assist in other operational areas when needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
