Qualifications

  • Experience with MATLAB for data analysis and software development.
  • Experience with calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies.
  • Familiarity with Python, C++, and Arduino.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage calibration activities for the Inertial Sensor Assembly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve test stations and calibration software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware and software integration throughout the calibration process.
  • Write and execute software scripts to automate calibration and testing processes.
  • Document calibration procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
  • Train test technicians and maintain or create Test Instructions.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Inertial Sensor Assembly Calibration (ISACal) group.
  • Contribute to projects advancing aerospace navigation, inertial sensing, and hardware systems.

Job description

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • Experience in a Test Engineering role in aerospace, related, or electrical engineering industries
  • Background in hardware, electronics, or electrical systems
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Understanding of software and hardware integration in testing environments
  • Experience with calibration procedures for Inertial Sensor Assemblies or similar systems
  • Knowledge of test stations and calibration software applications
  • Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and software development
  • Experience with Thermal Rate Tables and Test Stations
  • Familiarity with Python, C++, and Arduino
  • Opportunity available at various experience levels, from Engineer II through more senior engineer levels
