Job summary

Hinge Health is seeking a Test Engineer II to scale and strengthen testing for software-enabled hardware systems. You will execute defined methods, verify protocols, and support a regulated product development lab to ensure devices meet quality and traceability standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document results clearly, and contribute to lab automation and process improvements as programs evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, quality, or related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in a test, lab, quality, manufacturing, or product development environment.
• Experience executing written procedures or protocols and documenting results clearly and traceably.
• Experience using common lab equipment and working within controlled test setups.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, quality partners, and program stakeholders to complete testing on schedule.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting results, discrepancies, and test observations.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined test methods and verification protocols.
• Collect, record, and organize test data and draft clear test reports.
• Support lab operations and bench-level testing for development programs.
• Assist in QC testing for in-office builds and document results.
• Maintain equipment records and calibration status on the lab.
• Support automated/semi-automated test execution and report failures.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology, quality, or related technical field

2+ years of experience in test, lab, quality, manufacturing, or product development environment
