Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Grapevine, TX seeks a Test Engineer I to join a hardware-focused client on a full-time, onsite basis. The role requires coordinating tests through development and production, and occasional travel to the Fort Worth site as needed.

Responsibilities include developing test programs, analyzing data, and preparing technical reports. Ideal candidates hold a Computer Engineering degree or have 2+ years of testing experience with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or 2+ years of testing experience.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional discussions on defects.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with scripting in C++, Python, XML and CMD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute tests during quality control phase of manufacturing.
• Gather and analyze materials and components data used in production.
• Develop testing programs and procedures with defined conditions.
• Conduct tests on new products and collect digital data during testing.
• Analyze test data to assess accuracy and reliability of results.
• Identify and address issues with new products; propose solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and recommend production changes.
• Integrate quality control testing into the production process.
• Seek methods to save time and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
