Kidde Global Solutions in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute hardware validation, qualification, reliability, and regulatory testing for new product development and sustaining engineering.
The role collaborates with design, manufacturing, and certification bodies, develops test strategies, analyzes results, and mentors technicians and engineers to improve lab capabilities and ensure compliance with UL, FM, CE, and related standards.

Base Salary Rate: $86,216.00 to $101,430.00

As part of the Bradenton Hardware Test and Certification Lab, the Hardware Test Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing hardware validation, qualification, reliability, and regulatory compliance testing activities supporting new product development and sustaining engineering efforts.
This position works closely with design engineering, project management, quality, manufacturing, and certification agencies to verify product performance and compliance requirements. The Hardware Test Engineer develops test strategies, executes complex testing activities, analyzes results, drives issue resolution, and supports continuous improvement of laboratory capabilities and processes. The role also provides technical guidance to test technicians and associate engineers.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
