Job summary

Sproutup is seeking an IT Specialist to diagnose and refurbish electronics in a warehouse setting, handling data sanitation and inventory using our ERP/sERP systems. You will learn our proprietary software platforms and collaborate with operators to maintain efficient workflows.

Ideal candidates demonstrate hardware knowledge, a proactive learning mindset, and the ability to operate safely in a non-climate-controlled environment while lifting up to 50 pounds and using common hand tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Runs diagnostics on electronics including laptops, tablets, servers, and networking equipment and their components.
• Operates specialized equipment with independence and software knowledge.
• Uses software to manage data sanitation of many hard drives and routes devices to distribution channels.
• Uses sERP to inventory devices by creating labels and scanning barcodes to sort components.
• Coordinates and supervises daily activities of Level 3 and Level 4 Operators; team-level impact.
• Recognizes basic electronic components.
• Opens/closes and interprets shop orders.
• Understands and manipulates all aspects of the sERP system.
• Understands production system processes (inbound/outbound shipping, shop orders, inventory).
• Familiar with third-party software (Softhinks, Future Dial, Kronos, EPS, WipeOS).

We are looking for an IT Specialist seeking a different type of opportunity. Someone who likes refurbishing IT equipment and identifying and harvesting valuable components from devices near the end of their lifecycle. Responsibilities

• Runs diagnostics on various consumer and industrial electronics including laptops, tablets, servers, and networking equipment, as well as their individual components
• Position may operate specialized equipment in combination with considerable independence and variation in assignments, requiring knowledge of our propriety software platform and additional software.
• Utilizes software to manage the data sanitation of hundreds of hard drives at a time and routes the devices to the appropriate distribution channel ranging from direct retail to responsible recycling
• Utilizes sERP (proprietary software) to inventory numerous devices by creating labels and scanning barcodes to sort electronic components by attributes
• Coordinates, supervises, and is accountable for the daily activities of Level 3 and Level 4 Operators. Impact of work is at team level.
• Demonstrates recognition of basic electronic components
• Opens/closes and interprets shop orders
• Understands and manipulates all aspects of the sERP system
• Understands the total production system and processes (e.g., inbound/ outbound shipping, shop orders, and inventory management)
• Understands third-party software (e.g., Softhinks, Future Dial, Kronos, EPS, WipeOS, etc.)
