Job summary

Apple is seeking a Hardware System Design Engineer to work with cross-functional teams to take products from concept to mass production. You will design schematics, select components and bring up hardware in lab environments.

The role requires strong EE fundamentals, 5+ years of hardware development, and experience with Cadence concepts and Allegro. Some travel may be required across Apple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hardware development engineering in a team environment.
• Experience with schematic capture and layout review.
• Experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering expertise to realize products from concept to mass production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features.
• Design schematics, select components, and perform lab characterization.
• Work with distributed teams across Apple sites; travel may be required.
• Define test criteria and execute plans on prototypes.
