Apple Inc. is seeking a Hardware System Integrator for the Apple Vision Pro project in San Jose, California. The role involves applying your engineering expertise across multiple cross-functional teams to develop new products. Upon joining our team as a Hardware System Integrator, you will be directly applying your engineering expertise and working with many cross‑functional teams to realize products that consumers will love. We collaborate with a large number of groups to bring a product from concept to mass production. Our goal is to help define exciting product features that will touch our customers. Therefore you’ll have the ability to solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, directing layout, and bringing up and debugging circuits in the lab. You will work alongside partner teams to realize prototypes to aid in product definition and user testing. You will have access to state‑of‑the‑art test equipment in labs to perform characterization of your circuits. You will also be able to define test criteria and execute these test plans on functional prototypes to demonstrate the robustness of your designs. Some domestic and international travel will be required. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and proactive collaboration. You are curious-minded, always seeking to learn while offering your expertise to teach and help others.
Base pay range: $126,800 – $220,900, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the competitive base salary, Apple employees may become shareholders through discretionary restricted stock unit awards and may purchase Apple stock at a discount via the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation assistance.
