Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience in support engineering or related work.
• Associate's degree with 3+ years of experience in support engineering or related work.
• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic design troubleshooting rules for hardware and assembled circuitry.
• Read device spec sheets and interpret details to validate hardware design features.
• Identify ways to optimize tests and hardware designs by evaluating performance under various conditions.
• Assist in assessing complex design features for flaws and compatibility issues.
• Document materials, components, and assemblies for the device.
• Troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and document lessons learned.
• Provide basic technical input and support for internal customers.
• Act as a tech lead on small projects with minimal guidance.
• Assist in specialized analyses (feasibility, signal integrity, power integrity) and develop methodologies for new solutions.
• Interface with RF, Analog and Digital IC designers, Software, System Engineering, Test Engineers, Customer Engineering, and Operations to implement design improvements.
