Job summary

Coborn's, Inc. is hiring a Store Manager for our Ace Hardware location in Illinois. You will direct and manage all aspects of store operation to maximize sales and gross profit, using staff and resources effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail/customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all phases of store operation to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Plan, develop and implement store policies and goals; establish priorities and communicate expectations to staff.
• Hire, train, motivate, and develop staff; deliver performance evaluations and coaching for increased performance.
• Direct and coordinate ordering, merchandising, and pricing of merchandise ensuring compliance with support center directives; monitor arrival of new products and entry into POS system.
• Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, safety programs and overall physical and facilities maintenance of the hardware store.
