Job summary

Zoox is seeking a contract student worker to support validation cycles for its test infrastructure and act as on-call factory support. You will document, triage, and report stability issues to keep operations running smoothly, collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex technical systems. Currently enrolled in a B.S.

or M.S. in a relevant field, you must be able to commit to at least 40 hours per week for a minimum of three months and work on-site in Foster City, CA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. in Automotive Engineering, Robotics, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant technical field.
• Available to commit to a minimum three-month assignment.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Able to work on-site in Foster City, CA.
• Follows Zoox confidentiality requirements for proprietary information.
• Experience with Linux, Git, and Jira.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics and with simulation/HIL testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate validation cycles for Zoox's Manufacturing test infrastructure focusing on stability.
• Act as on-call support for the factory and document, triage, and report stability issues to unblock operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate complex technical systems.
• Work within a vendor contract and adhere to compensation terms.
